The IoT industry is ready to spread

According to media reports, three operators have formulated the 2020’s commercial plan to launch 5G network, and they will start the construction of trial network and related tests as early as next year. If the preparatory work is progressing smoothly, they are possible to invest 5G network construction in 2018 and officially launched their commercial use in 2020.

At present, the industry insiders generally believe that once 5G network is officially put into commercial use, it is expected to invigorate the IoT industry with trillion yuan. A number of market institutions express that, many typical IoT segments have been quite mature in the technology and application level, such as car networking, big data, cloud computing, smart home, unmanned aerial vehicle etc. But the existing 4G network’s communication capacity greatly limits the development of above industries. With the official commercial use of 5G network, the network problems will be easily solved, and these industries will usher in a rapid development period. And artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing and other industries will also rise.

This launching of this program will have a huge promoting effect on IoT industrialization. “This means that the evolution period from ‘IoT technologies” to “IoT market” will be greatly shortened. Due to the vague boundaries of IoT’s R&D stages, technology updates and result transformation will be faster,” insiders said.
