It is unavoidable for us to feel reluctant to pay after a shopping spree. Many friends may always say that: I want to chop my hands again! (a kind of self-ridicule for crazy shopping) The famous Amazon Go, Ali Tao café, Take go and other stores have hundreds of approaches to let you shop by intimate or even “painless” approach: take and go. You can directly take away products and automatically pay for products without opening your wallet or turning on the phone. That means, you no long will feel reluctant at the time of payment…
(The picture comes from the internet)
On July 8th, Ali’s new retail store with unmanned concept--“Tao café” made its debut in Hangzhou, which was a model of offline physical store with 200 square meters, integrating shopping and catering to create a “senseless” payment method for users. Customers who finish selecting goods would walk into a “payment door” before leaving the store, and a screen would appear in front of them. After identification, the program would automatically close accounts within a few seconds. Once it was finished, customer could leave with their goods. Such “hands-chopping gate” with “black” technology had an intelligent system of automatic sense of IoT to provide the shopping experience “take and go after automatic recognition”. Behind this was RFID’s target tracking and analysis system.
So, how to achieve this result? Let me explain to you. This system originates a perfect combination of the “high performance RFID reader-UR7” belonging to the subsidiary of Ruizhang Technology-RealID and an ALN-9662 UHF label (UHF RFID label) belonging to Alien. The label works like our Id card to provide a unique Id for each commodity to store their price and other key information. Then, through RealID’s efficient reader and sophisticated algorithms, an interaction between label data and background software system can be instantly realized to finish commodity’s automatic payment.
