From August 16th to 18th, The Ninth IOTE2017 Summer Exhibition was grandly held in Shenzhen Exhibition Center. Founded in 1994, Alien Technology was an experienced and quality supplier of radio frequency identification technology and innovation in the industry. It provided passive Ultra High Frequency(UHF) identification chip, label, fixed and hand-held reader and all-sided professional services, meeting with EPC global Gen2 and ISO/IEC 18000-6c standards.

As a leader of massive RFID technologies, Alien devoted itself to popularizing UHF applications, reducing product cost, continuously enhancing product performance and introducing innovative products and applications.

In 2016, the company launched new products for logistics and clothing and they were widely used and praised by customers. At the beginning of the year, it launched a new generation of enterprise-class 4 port reader- ALR-F800, which supported PoE power supply and SD expansion, had stronger functions, configurable wireless network and Bluetooth, and could intelligently adjust working mode and Android 4.4 (KitKat) operating system based on application environment. It also launched a new generation of hand-held reader—ALR-H450, which internally installed high performance RFID antenna and high-speed processor, ensuring excellent reading distance and rate.

In 2017, Alien launched 2 UHF RFID reader antennas on the model ALR-A1001 and ALR-A0501, which were suitable for Alien and non-Alien reader. The sales director of Alien—Nicon YANG said: “these two new products provide more choices for RFID customers and reduce the cost. They adopt IP67 as the protection grade, which is suitable for dusty or humid environment, and FCC and ETSI frequency to provide support for global customers.”

Recently, Alien Technology also released a reader and gateway device—ALR-F800-X to simplify the arrangement of RFID. ALR-F800-X was a UHF reader and a gateway device, which could collect and read data from 4 extra Alien readers, and then interpret the information and transmit them to server. The new device is equipped with Emissary software, by this means, users could create logical names for every reader, antenna, and other peripheral equipment and their locations in the network of ALR-F800-X.
